 Every marketer in this day and age must be able to skillfully create content for their employer to use. That content comes in many forms, and it would be wise to be an expert in at least one while knowing at least how the others work.

It is also wise to become fluent in software and what it needs to do in marketing, because your company will probably have something along the lines of a marketing resource management (MRM) software system. That software can have many capabilities that vary by company and need, so it is best to develop general computer skills and a strong logical background.

As technology continues to diversify, marketing will continue to find new ways to use it and develop along with the world. Marketers will have to keep creating content to keep up, and the many kinds of content creation will become even more of a skill as time goes on.
